Terms & community.

Blostma only works if it stays safe enough to be honest in. These are the rules that keep it that way.

Who can join

Blostma is for women, trans women included. Accounts that belong to men are removed, and so are accounts that pretend to be someone else.

You must be at least 18 years old. One account per person — your circle is matched to a real human, and duplicates break that for everyone.

What we ask of you

Hold what you're told. What a woman shares in your circle stays in your circle. Don't screenshot it, don't forward it, don't repeat it elsewhere.

Respond to the person, not the performance. Struggles and rants are invited here. Mocking someone for posting one is not.

Show up as you said you would. You chose a weekly commitment during onboarding. A circle where two people answer and three never do is worse than no circle.

What is not allowed

Harassment, cruelty, or pile-ons. Hate or discrimination of any kind. Sexual content or unwanted advances. Sharing someone else's private information. Spam, recruiting, coaching pitches, or selling to your circle. Impersonating someone else. Encouraging self-harm.

Blostma is not a crisis service and not therapy. If you or someone here is in danger, contact your local emergency services — and report it to us so we can act.

What we do about it

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive members. A word filter stops slurs and threats before they are posted. Every report is read by a person, and we act on it within 24 hours: we remove the content and remove the account of anyone who broke these rules, who can then no longer sign in.

Depending on what we find, we may also contact the people involved. From a post menu you can hide posts from one author. From a report you can block a member; if you share a circle, this moves you into the waiting room for a new match. You can also leave a circle from its menu.

Your words stay yours

You keep ownership of everything you write. You give us only the permission needed to store it and show it to the members it is meant for. Delete your account and it goes with you.

What we can and can't promise

We will do our honest best to keep Blostma running, safe, and private. We can't promise it will never be down, never lose data, or that a circle will be the right fit the first time — if it isn't, leave it and we'll match you again. Blostma is provided as it is, and our liability is limited to the extent the law allows.

Changes and governing law

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute.
